Optimi Head Office Visual Arts PAT Grade 10 & 11
Learners are invited to join us at this event to complete their Visual Arts PATs. It is highly recommended that learners have their work assessed throughout the year so that they may improve based on the feedback they receive and not leave everything to be assessed at the final exhibition.
The following tasks can be assessed on the day:

*If learners have submitted work to Impaq for marking, it is their responsibility to get this back in time for the retrospective exhibition. Learners need ALL the practical work (visual diary and artwork) for Terms 1, 2 and 3 for the Retrospective Exhibition.
Learners must set up their work for display between 07:30 and 08:30. The breakdown time will be determined by how many tasks are being assessed. Note that learners may not be present for the assessment.
Please note:
- Tickets are non-refundable and non-transferable.
- Please ensure that you purchase a ticket for the correct date and subject, as ticket exchanges are not permitted.
- Learners must set up their work for display between 07:30 and 08:30. Set up must be completed by 08:30.
- One easel and one table will be provided per learner. Any other display methods/items will be for the learner’s account.
- Learners should please be mindful of limited space for exhibitions to ensure that all the learners have a fair and equal opportunity.
- Arriving late may mean that a learner will forfeit their assessment opportunity.
- No official paperwork is to be taken from the event by the learner or parent/guardian. Uploading of marks will be done by Impaq.
- Artwork not collected at the breakdown time can be collected from the Impaq offices on the Monday after the event.
- A confirmation email will be sent out in the week before the event takes place with all the necessary information for the event day.
- Please send an email to assessment.events@optimi.co.za to confirm which task will be completed on the day of the event so that we can prepare accordingly.
