In this course, students will learn the fundamentals of building and testing circuits, programming in the Arduino language (a C++ derivative), and (once equipped with the basics) building an Autonomous Hand Sanitiser.

This year-long robotics course kicks off with the fundamentals of robotics and coding and the importance of simulation. Once learners know the basics of building and testing circuits and coding in Arduino (a C++ derivative), they will put their knowledge into practice. 


With access to an online platform and step-by-step video instructions, learners will build a fully-automated hand sanitiser with an infrared sensor that will detect a hand and cause the system to dispense a small amount of soap or sanitiser – mission accomplished!
